At the dealership, the solution is designed to manage a large number of vehicle keys. Every vehicle’s key is physically attached to the RecovR for Keys tag. When a user needs to know the position of a vehicle key, he requests it from the Web application and will see its position on a map. The user can make the RecovR for Keys Tag ring and flash; this feature guides the user to the exact place of the keys. During the sales process of the vehicle, the F&I manager will be able to upsell, thanks to the RecovR Web application, the RecovR for Keys solution to the car owner.
RecovR for Keys uses RecovR gateways and RecovR locators as anchors to locate the RecovR for Keys tags. The tags are designed with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology and combined with sensors to assist in pinpointing the exact location in the Web application (RecovR Portal).
For the car owner, the solution is designed to manage the 2 or 3 keys delivered during the vehicle sale. The car owner can use a mobile application to manage the position of his vehicle keys and contact the RecovR call center for a support request or a key replacement claim.
